A Space-Inspired Bedroom Makeover by Mauricio Arruda
The bedroom of Caetano, was calling for an impactful and at the same time intelligent renovation. According to architect Mauricio Arruda, the starting point for the project came from Caetano himself, who chose the striking Black Space Race wallpaper by MOOUI as the centerpiece theme for his new room.
From there, the space took on a bold and imaginative identity, combining deep blue and green accents with a layout that reuses existing furniture like the bed and desk. The result? A space-themed bedroom that’s dynamic, functional, and ready to evolve through every new phase of childhood!
To complement the wallpaper, Mauricio added pieces from Mooui’s Space Race bedding collection, along with our colorful organizing baskets — bringing harmony, style, and fun to every corner.
This project is a great example of how thoughtful design and the creative reuse of existing furniture can completely transform a child's bedroom without the need for a full renovation. The result is a room that feels fresh, original, and perfectly suited for growing up with imagination.
