Designed by Yanka Oliveira Arquitetura, this charming shared kids bedroom brings the warmth of the countryside into a playful and cozy space for siblings. Inspired by farmhouse living, the project combines rustic design, playful elements, and carefully selected textures to create a room where children can rest and play with the farm living theme!
The highlight of the room is a custom-designed rustic bunk bed finished in a deep barn-red tone. The color instantly evokes the look of traditional farm barns and becomes the central feature of the space.
Farm-Inspired Kids Wallpaper
To complement the bunk bed design, Yanka selected the Green Fields Chess Wallpaper by MOOUI. The green checkered pattern contrasts beautifully with the barn-red structure of the bunk bed while perfectly matching the farmhouse theme.
The wallpaper was also applied to the center panels of the wardrobe doors, adding a charming decorative detail that reinforces the rustic countryside atmosphere.
For the remaining walls, the architect chose Thin Mocha Mousse Stripes Wallpaper, a subtle striped pattern that adds warmth and texture while keeping the room light, balanced, and cozy.
Playful Decor and Cozy Details
To complete the space, several MOOUI products were used to bring comfort and playful character to the room.
The Barnyard Bliss bedding collection adds softness and a fun storytelling element that children can relate to, while keeping the room comfortable and inviting.
Finishing the space is the Lorena Canals + MOOUI Rug Dots washable rugs collaboration, which adds texture and a playful touch to the floor.
The result is a cozy farmhouse kids bedroom that combines rustic design, playful wallpaper, and thoughtful decor to create a magical environment for siblings.
